Yes, SCCL products are free from major diseases such as Tuberculosis, Brucellosis, Enzootic Bovine Leukosis, Foot and Mouth Disease, and BSE. Colostrum is collected from healthy cows and tested after collection and processing for Salmonella, Enterobacter, and other pathogenic coliforms using regulator-approved laboratory methods.

The key difference is how much immunity (IgG) they provide and how they’re used:

• A colostrum replacer is designed to fully replace maternal colostrum by delivering a complete dose of IgG needed for adequate immunity. Some replacers provide this in a single feeding (150–200 g IgG), while others—such as 60 g - 100 g IgG products—can also be used as replacers when fed in multiple bags to reach the total required IgG.
• A colostrum supplement provides a lower amount of IgG and is used primarily to boost maternal colostrum when quality or volume is not sufficient, not to replace it entirely.
