My name is Greg Moes, co-owner of Modak Dairy in Goodwin, South Dakota, along with my brother and my son. We operate roughly milk about 2,700 cows. When we first started out with colostrum feeding, we take it right from the fresh cow buckets and dump it into a bottle and and feed them. We didn't have any way of knowing what the level of IGS was. Every cow is so variable. we would have down to 15s or 12elves and then the next one would be up to 30s. So, you're just setting that calf up for a complete failure. We've been feeding SCCL for man, it's got to be over 10 years now. The thing that drew us to SCCL was that it's the bovine colostrum. It's made straight from the bovine. So, it isn't something that's just supplemented or made from other powders and milk proteins and everything else. If we don't have colostrum, that's when it's really easy to go and and take the SCCL and mix it up and feed that to the calf. It really made it simple. If in the first two days, if you don't have the right things in that stomach of that baby animal, you're fighting with her for the next 8 weeks. If you have a calf that's ready and willing to run around and you don't have to worry about that for the next 8 weeks, it's a it's a game changer. The reason we use SCCL, number one, is we've tried a lot of different products, but this one we feel does what we want it to do. I would recommend SCCL to anybody that's even thinking about it.
